Where ideas
get wired.

PCB design, firmware, 3D printing, and manufacturing under one roof. Plus a store stocked with the parts you actually need. One team. Zero hand-offs.

Design

We turn ideas into files. PCBs, firmware, and 3D models designed by engineers who've built the thing themselves.

Manufacture

From prototype to production run. We fabricate boards, print enclosures, and ship finished assemblies.

Stock up

The components, tools, and kits we'd buy ourselves. If we wouldn't put it on our bench, it isn't on the shelf.

Three studios. One team.

Most hardware projects fail in the gaps. We don't have those gaps. Pick one service or all three.

Schematics that actually ship.

From first prototype to multilayer production. Schematic capture, component selection, layout, DFM checks, and full Gerber handoff, ready to fabricate anywhere.

  • Single, double & multilayer designs
  • Component sourcing & BOM optimization
  • Signal integrity & EMI review
  • Full handoff: schematic, layout, Gerbers, BOM

Code that talks to silicon.

A microcontroller is a brick until you tell it what to do. We write clean, documented, field-ready firmware in C, C++, MicroPython, and Arduino: from blinking an LED to managing a sensor mesh over LoRa.

  • ESP32, STM32, RP2040, ATmega, nRF52
  • Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa & Zigbee stacks
  • Sensor drivers & data pipelines
  • OTA updates & cloud integration

Parts that fit. Every time.

Where your idea stops being a sketch and starts becoming a thing. Functional enclosures, mechanical assemblies, custom parts. Tolerances respected, mounting holes aligned, snap-fits that actually snap.

  • Enclosures for PCBs & electronics
  • Mechanical assemblies & fixtures
  • Print-ready STL, STEP & 3MF files
  • DFM for FDM, SLA, CNC & injection molding

We don't just design. We build.

Same team. Same standards. No hand-offs lost in translation. Prototypes in days, production in weeks.

PCB Fabrication & Assembly

SMT, through-hole, and mixed assembly. 1 to 10-layer boards, 0402 and below, BGA and QFN supported. Functional testing before anything leaves the bench.

Built for makers

  • One team, end to end.

Design, code, print, ship. No agency hand-offs. We own the whole thing.

  • Maker-priced.

Pro-grade work without the enterprise quote. We've been the person counting components on a budget.

  • You own the files.

Full handoff: schematics, firmware, models, Gerbers. Your IP, your project, your repo.

  • We answer.

A real person, usually within a day. No ticket system. No chatbot.

How a project runs

1

Tell us what you're building.

A 15-minute call. No NDA gymnastics, no obligation.

2

Scope & quote.

Fixed price where we can, transparent where we can't. No surprises.

3

Design & review.

You see every iteration. You sign off before we cut anything or commit a line of firmware.

4

Build, test, ship.

We test it ourselves before it leaves the bench. And we don't disappear after delivery.

We started in a garage.

One soldering iron. Too many ideas. XD TRONICS exists because the path from "I have an idea" to "I have a product" is needlessly broken. You hire a PCB designer, a firmware engineer, a CAD modeller, and a factory you've never met. Then something doesn't fit and nobody owns it.

So we built one team that owns all of it. Today that means a full electronics studio, small-batch manufacturing, and a maker store stocked with the parts we wish someone had sold us when we were starting out.

Open build logs, open-source designs, and a real person on the other end of the email. That's the goal.
